Life changing energy healing courses are currently being held at Witherdens Hall, from beginner level all the way up to advanced (teacher) level. Currently, Reiki Drum courses, Spiritual Response Therapy courses, and Karuna Reiki Master Teacher courses are all running from August to December 2010.

Spiritual Response Therapy Courses

6 days - Advanced dowsing course | Live as your Higher Self

Spiritual Response Therapy is suitable for both beginners and experienced energy healers alike. A dynamic tool for changing consciousness, SRT provides the information and experience necessary to clear and balance all levels of human energy field, under the guidance of the Higher Self. No experience of dowsing required, although it may be helpful.

This is a six day intensive programme, split over two weekends, designed to facilitate conscious connection to source energy. The programme is split into two long weekends, with plenty of time to practice new techniques and assimiliate energy shifts between the course dates.

Spiritual Response Therapy puts you back in touch with the amazing energy that exists inside of you! Practical and empowering on all levels, it brings freedom from limiting perspectives and beliefs and cuts the ties of the past that lock us into unnecessary pain and victimisation.

Students will learn core spiritual healing principles that underpin working with the SRT system of healing, understand personal energy management (PEM), how to research and clear basic programming (i.e. a limiting belief, perception or judgement) from this present life and past lives/other lives, and learn about Soul Family relationships.

Some leading-edge techniques in health include carrying out an energetic "brain restructuring" to restore mind/body co-ordination and a "homotoxicology clearing" to dissolve toxins stored throughout the body's various systems.

Further details

On the basic course students are given a comprehensive training manual, a subset of the full set of SRT Charts and copy of Robert Detzler's book "The Freedom Path". On the advanced course students are given a further, in-depth training manual and full set of SRT Charts and a copy of Robert Detzler's book "Soul Re-Creation". A recognised certificate is given on satisfactory completion of the Advanced SRT course, allowing enrollment onto the Spiritual Response Association's accredited Self-Mastery Programme and Intensive Skills Class.

Newly qualified practitioners are strongly encouraged to work with the system on themselves, family and friends before commencing work with clients. After completion of the basic course students are welcome to attend SRT review meetings. These meetings act as a forum for all students and graduates to present challenges they are having, meet with like-minded individuals and feel supported throughout their personal and spiritual development. Review meetings are held whenever possible and will be decided on an ad hoc basis.

Transforming Consciousness Through Sound

2 day intensive - Advanced Healing Energy For Our Evolving World

Sound is a dynamic frequency that has the innate capacity to bring about tremendous shifts in consciousness.

No musical experience is necessary for the course, only a willingness to learn. As an accomplished sound healer, musician and teacher, Jaime will cover concepts in detail to ensure a good understanding of the principles and techniques involved, as well as allowing plenty of time for practice and sound-based meditations.

The nature of the course is both active and passive, yin and yang. There will be meditations where you can just relax and enjoy the pulsating harmonics and rhythms of the instrument being played. On other occasions you will be actively using sound to shift your own personal frequency.

Students will be introduced to an ancient and powerful technique called overtoning, learning how to in-tone specific harmonics for healing and also shown how to project these outwards to help balance and heal the physical and subtle bodies of another person. Healing of others is, however, not the focus of the course and participants are advised to enrol on a Reiki or SRT course, if helping others to heal is a key goal.

Vocal toning and chanting is an important part of the training and takes the student to ever higher levels of consciousness and light which is validated by the Mahayana Buddhist tradition where the bodhisattva Avalokitesvhara is said to create the "Sound that illumines the world".

The vocal harmonics produced through overtoning not only resonate the physical body and the etheric fields but also vibrate different portions of the brain. Just as it is possible to project healing energy through touch, we can do the same with our voice.

This two day intensive covers:

• Correct use of breathing. Learn the difference between low, mid and high breathing. Learn the yogic breath and a Pranayama technique to help the lungs operate at optimum capacity.

• The important of silence in sound work.
• Drum meditation - an introduction to Shamanism.
• An experiential exploration of the seven major chakras through toning.

• Intoning The Divine Name! What is it? Why is it so powerful and how you can use it to powerful effect in your life today!

On successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance from Energy Therapy. This does not qualify you as a sound healer but can be used towards CPD qualifications. If you would like to become a sound healer, consider taking Reiki Drum (taught at Reiki Second Degree) and Karuna Reiki (taught to Reiki Masters).

Reiki Drum Technique - Advanced Practitioner Course

2 days

The drumbeat is one of the oldest and most sacred sounds that we can use to tap into altered states of consciousness and Reiki drumming provides a unique blending of healing traditions from the East and West, as well as ancient shamanistic ceremonial practices, allowing Reiki to merge with the drum's sound waves to create a beautifully safe and sacred environment for healing to occur.

"The sound of the drum was soothing and seemed to go straight through my body towards the earth. I started dreaming as soon as the drum started and met a beautiful stag on at least one of my journeys. During the penultimate session I had a massive release of emotion and I couldn't stop crying but I knew it was a safe place and moment to let it out. Reiki Drum students will explore standard shamanic techniques using the drum such as "journeying", and will also learn the Reiki Drum Mental/Emotional Reprogramming to facilitate powerful, altered states of consciousness and deep healings within themselves and their clients. Students will need to either sit or stand whilst drumming, depending on the technique being used. When receiving any type of healing, students will be invited to lie down on a massage couch.

Jaime always endeavours to make learning as interesting and dynamic as possible. Reiki Drum students will therefore have the opportunity to experience healing vibrations through the sound of the drum, the didgeridoo and vocal harmonics/overtoning during the course.

To ensure that sounds being created are in harmony, all students will need to purchase a 16-inch Remo Buffalo Drum (supplied at cost price). Buffalo Frame Drums are stronger, lighter and acoustically superior to traditional wood-ply construction and can be used in any weather as it is not made from animal skin and is therefore unaffected by changes in temperature and humidity.

The Retreat at Witherdens Hall

Witherdens Hall is set in the rolling Kent countryside between Sandwich and Canterbury. The retreat workspace provides an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere to learn in. Delicious, organic food, great ambience and attention to detail, along with unique course content and delivery all combine to make each experience truly unforgettable.

Louise Cox, a former City investment analyst, director and fund manager runs Witherdens Hall. She is passionate about helping people achieve the full potential and has teamed up with Jaime, founder of Energy Therapy, to offer this highly-in-demand selection of advanced healing courses.

Accommodation

There is just one room on site, adjacent to the newly refurbished workspace, with double bed and ensuite bathroom. This will be offered out on a first come, first serve basis. There is a kitchen available for making breakfast and supper. A delicious lunch is provided each day as part of the course fee.

For other students who are not local to the area and/or unable to drive (London is just over an hour's drive from Witherdens Hall), we are able to recommend the following B&Bs for students to stay in whilst participating in weekend long courses at Witherdens Hall.

Cosy and comfortable, they afford students the opportunity to relax and refresh away from the venue and, each morning, students can enjoy a beautiful walk on their way to The Retreat. Please note that neither Energy Therapy nor Witherdens Hall receive a commission for referring students and are not responsible in any way for the accommodation.

Please inform the B&B owners that you are attending one of the "Energy Therapy & Witherdens Hall Course Retreats" when booking. If you are staying for a minimum of two nights they have indicated that they are willing to give students a 10% discount and may be open to negotiation for a further discount if you staying for more than two nights. Please let Jaime and Louise know about your experience when booking. Both owners have proved to be easy going, flexible and helpful in the past.

Retreats' Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by a student

If a student cancels their place on a course more than 6 weeks before the start date, half their deposit will be refunded. For cancellations within 3 to 6 weeks before the course, the deposit will not be refunded but no further payment will be required; for cancellations less than 3 weeks before the start date, the full course fee is payable.

Cancellation made by Energy Therapy

Courses require a minimum of four students to run, up to a maximum of six. Energy Therapy reserves the right to cancel any course. If a course is cancelled by Energy Therapy, students will have the option of a full refund or transfer of their deposit to a future course.
