Thank you very much for the Reiki share on Sunday. I really enjoyed it and found this experience so rich and joyful. Associating sound with Reiki is really powerful. I did the meditation with sound and chakras visualization today and I have been amazed to feel my body reacting with spontaneous movements like it happens while I am practicing Tai Chi. I had already used sounds while doing some Chi Kung before but in a completely intuitive way. I am glad and greatful to you for bringing me a new perspective and ground to base my practice on. Recently we completed the Reiki Level 1 course with Jaime. He is a great teacher - he gave very clear explanations and the group felt very relaxed and comfortable to ask questions. We feel that weI've been given such a valuable gift in being able to use Reiki to heal ourselves and others. In addition, we also attended a Reiki share meeting that introduced us to the use of toning sounds to complement Reiki. During the practice session we were amazed at how much the Reiki energy was amplified by using toning sounds. It was great to have a chance to practice Reiki and share feedback with the other Reiki students. We really enjoyed both sessions and can't wait to do the Reiki level 2 course. "I have read and been told many times that a person doesn't discover Reiki but that Reiki finds that person, whenever the time is particularly right for them. I am convinced that this was so in my own experience. Although I had considered studying Reiki 1 many times since first receiving a treatment some years ago, for various reasons the time had never been quite right, until finally a friend 'discovered' Jaime and we arranged our study day with him. Just a week before this was due to take place, my father died quite suddenly and in my newly shocked and bereaved state I had to take advice from Jaime and carefully consider if I should go ahead with the attunement at such an emotional time.
