This world is a beautiful one that we must care for – and we must also care for each other in the process of looking after our own needs because, ultimately, we are all connected together in a web of infinite consciousness that defies ordinary thought.   

Today’s ‘global village’, where we can communicate with each on our phones across time and space in the proverbial blink of an eye points to the deeper truth of our interconnectedness.

Instead of seeing ourselves as separate from each other, and acting in such a fashion, what would the world be like if we truly listened to this message?  It is not a new message – the ancient rishis of India thousands of years ago also said this – but to live it would represent a radical departure from the old materialistic ‘winner takes all’ paradigm that we have blindly accepted as the whole truth –  a model which actually brings us nothing but suffering if we care to truly look. Even those who ‘make it’ know that their trappings are riding on the perilous ‘sands of time’ where all can be stripped away in the blink of an eye.

Nothing is certain in the outer world.

We must look within to the ‘rock’ of Spirit, the only truth that lasts.

Many moons ago, the Great Guru, father of Yoga – Paramahansa Yogananda – said, ‘In seemingly empty space there is one Link, one Life eternal, which unites everything in the universe – animate and inanimate – one wave of Life flowing through everything.’

For those on the experiential path of awakening, you can know this truth for yourself by meditating regularly on God and the Cosmic Sound of AUM.
