The New Toothpaste That Leaves Dentists Without Work!
Let’s be honest, no one relishes going to the dentist to get a cavity filled. But dentists may soon have less work as Japanese researcher Kazue Yamagishi has recently invented a groundbreaking, revolutionary toothpaste that fills all the holes and cracks in your teeth – restoring the tooth enamel at the same time!
Read on to find more information about the paste that will allow you to heal tooth decay without drilling and about other ways to naturally heal your teeth from early decay.
What is Tooth Decay?
Teeth are made up of four layers.
- Enamel is the hard, protective, mineralized shell
- Below that is dentin, a bone like substance which provides another protective mineralized layer.
- Underneath that, the tooth has a soft center called a pulp, which contains all the blood vessels and nerve endings.
- This is covered with cementum, another mineralized tissue.
When your diet and oral hygiene are not adequate, acid in your mouth dissolves the outer layers of your teeth and tooth decay sets in.
Symptoms of Tooth Decay
- Tooth ache/Pain when eating or drinking
- Sensitivity to cold or hot food
- Visible discolored spots on teeth
Today, usually, a tooth decay is repaired with the assistance of a filling. This means that when tooth decay strikes, we have few options but to either suffer with the terrible pain or to visit the dentist for a filling.
How to Heal Cavities Without Drilling
A team of researchers led by Dr. Kazue Yamagishi from Japan have developed a way to fill cavities without having to go under the drill.
The properties of this new paste will make a lot of manipulations by your dentist unnecessary as the toothpaste is molecularly similar to tooth enamel, but in liquid form.
The Japanese research team managed to discover the formula of the new paste by a series of experiments with hydroxylapatite, otherwise known as crystalline calcium phosphate, which is the main component of our teeth.
As soon as the paste is applied to the teeth, it causes a dilution of the acid on the surface of the teeth. After three minutes, the paste starts to crystallize and gets fastened to the structure of the natural enamel.
Incredible, isn’t it?
How Does This Paste Work?
The researchers who developed this groundbreaking cavity-filling method, headed by Dr. Kazue Yamagishi, created and tested a substance that is nearly identical to natural tooth enamel.
Their findings were astonishing: cavities filled with the pseudo-enamel paste were just as sturdy and stable as their metal or amalgam counterparts, if not more so.
Amalgam fillings contain toxic mercury, so many people now want to remove them. However, you should read this article first.
The faux enamel paste allows for more efficient filling, as the cavity can be filled without the need to cut out part of a healthy tooth in order to reduce the chances of the spread of decay.
The paste bonds with the tooth without the need for drilling, saving the tooth’s owner time and pain.
The paste is suitable for cavities in their early stages but not for severely decaying teeth.
Can the Paste be Used at Home?
As the synthetic enamel is extremely acidic, professional application of the paste by a dentist will most likely be required. Its acidity and high concentration of hydrogen peroxide could cause inflammation of the gums, say the researchers.
How Soon will the Product be Available?
The product may already be purchased by dentists from Dr. Kazue Yamagishi’s website. So, if your dentist opts to use Dr. Yamagishi’s synthetic enamel, you could be in and out in less than 20 minutes—pain-free!

Other Natural Way to Heal Tooth Decay and Cavities
Many conventional dentists still operate under the belief that the only way to heal cavities is through dental intervention. Yet studies from holistic dentists and the research of Dr. Weston A Price, showed that diet has an incredible impact on oral health, even more so than brushing.
I didn’t know myself that teeth can re-mineralize but it is a natural process by which minerals are redeposited in tooth enamel after being removed by acids.
According to Anthony Williams, there are other good re-mineralization toothpastes that can bind to the tooth surface to aid in re-mineralization of the enamel, decreasing the risk of cavity formation. So check out this article!
How to Prevent Tooth Decay
Although this breakthrough in dental technology is welcome news for all who feel nervous about getting a cavity filled, it’s not a substitute for good oral hygiene.
Brushing daily using a good toothpaste and regular flossing is the best way to keep your mouth free from tooth decay and pain.
Top tip: Avoid commercial toothpastes which contain fluoride — now officially classed as a neurotoxin.
You should seriously consider adding oil pulling to your daily routine.
