Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.
The martial arts are ultimately self-knowledge. A punch or a kick is not to knock the hell out of the guy in front, but to knock the hell out of your ego.
The Highest Thought is always that thought which contains joy.
Mine is always your Highest Thought, your Clearest Word, your Grandest Feeling.
Your experience and your feelings about a thing represent what you factually and intuitively know about that thing. Words can only seek to symbolize what you know, and can often confuse what you know.  
Words may help you understand something. Experience allows you to know.
Grief is a natural emotion. It’s the part of you which allows you to say goodbye when you don’t want to say goodbye; to express—push out, propel—the sadness within you at the experience of any kind of loss.  
As we begin to travel more lightly within the body, aging becomes a different experience.
It is through gratitude for the present moment that the spiritual dimension of life opens up.

If you find your here and now intolerable and it makes you unhappy, you have three options: remove yourself from the situation, change it, or accept it totally.
