Happiness

We are not victims of our genes, but masters of our fates, able to create lives overflowing with peace, happiness, and love.
My advice to other disabled people would be, concentrate on things your disability doesn't prevent you doing well, and don't regret the things it interferes with. Don't be disabled in spirit as well as physically.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.
When you first awaken in the morning, after a few hours of sleep, you are in your most positive vibrational state.
Peace is the enjoyment of life; activity is the expression of life. A balance between the activity of the West and the calmness of the East is needed.
Practice even-minded calmness all the time. Become a king, an absolute monarch, of your own mental realm of calmness... Let nothing disturb your peaceable kingdom of calmness... this even-mindedness, when maintained by regular, deep meditation, removes the boredom, disappointment, and sorrow from everyday life, making it instead a very interesting and enjoyable experience of the soul.
Understand and feel the superior joys of the inner life, and you will prefer them to the fleeting pleasures of the outer world.
To remain in ignorance of your divine nature and to be overpowered by bad habits is to make an enemy of your own self. The best way to be successful in this adventure of life is to be your own friend.
If you want to be sad, no one in the world can make you happy. But if you make up your mind to be happy, no one and nothing on earth can take that happiness from you.
It is through gratitude for the present moment that the spiritual dimension of life opens up.
It is impossible for you to be angry and laugh at the same time.
Inspiration can come to us at any time and from many sources.
